2. Product Assembly and Installation

Certain Marble & Mason products may arrive fully assembled, partially assembled, or require assembly following delivery.

For orders shipped through standard delivery services, customers are responsible for arranging and completing any necessary assembly or installation, unless otherwise expressly agreed.

All assembly must be performed in accordance with the product-specific instructions and safety information supplied with the merchandise.

Customers must ensure that all components, connections, fasteners, and supporting structures are properly assembled and secured before using the product.

Improper assembly, installation, or securing of furniture may result in instability, tipping, structural failure, serious injury, or property damage.

For particularly heavy or complex furniture, Marble & Mason strongly recommends professional assembly.

Customers should not attempt assembly when necessary instructions or components are missing, damaged, or unclear. In such cases, please contact Marble & Mason for assistance before proceeding.

3. Heavy Furniture and Natural-Stone Safety

Many Marble & Mason products are crafted from natural stone, including marble, travertine, limestone, quartzite, and onyx.

These materials can be exceptionally heavy and require appropriate handling, lifting, positioning, and support.

Customers should ensure that:

Products are positioned on stable, level surfaces capable of supporting their weight.
Floors and supporting structures are suitable for the product.
All required assembly components and safety hardware are properly installed.
Furniture requiring anchoring or additional securing is installed according to its specific instructions.
Heavy items are moved with appropriate equipment and sufficient assistance.
Furniture is used only for its intended purpose.

Customers should never climb on furniture, allow children to climb on unsecured pieces, or place excessive or uneven weight on products.

Furniture requiring assembly or securing must not be used until all necessary safety requirements have been completed.

4. Miami White-Glove Delivery

Marble & Mason currently offers local white-glove delivery for eligible furniture orders within its Miami, Florida, service area.

Our white-glove delivery service includes:

Delivery of the purchased furniture.
Assembly of the furniture when necessary.
Placement of the assembled furniture in the customer's designated location.

White-glove delivery does not include wall anchoring, attachment to structural surfaces, or other specialized securing or installation services.

Customers are responsible for arranging any wall anchoring or structural securing required for their furniture, either independently or through a qualified professional.

If the manufacturer requires anchoring or securing for safe use, the product must not be used until those requirements have been properly completed.

Customers should ensure that the intended placement location is accessible and suitable for the product's dimensions and weight.

White-glove delivery does not include electrical installation of lighting fixtures.

5. Lighting and Electrical Installation

Marble & Mason offers decorative lighting products, including pendants, chandeliers, sconces, and ceiling fixtures.

Marble & Mason does not provide electrical installation services.

Customers are responsible for arranging installation by a qualified professional electrician.

All hardwired lighting must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, applicable electrical codes, and appropriate safety requirements.

Before installation, the electrician should verify that the electrical supply, ceiling or wall structure, mounting hardware, and installation location are suitable for the fixture.

Customers should not attempt unauthorized electrical modifications or use lighting fixtures that have been improperly installed.

Improper installation may create risks of electrical shock, fire, falling fixtures, injury, or property damage.

6. Assembly Instructions and Safety Information

Where applicable, Marble & Mason products requiring assembly or installation will be supplied with relevant instructions and safety information within their packaging.

These materials may include assembly procedures, handling precautions, weight or load restrictions, mounting requirements, and product-specific warnings.

Customers and installers are expected to review these instructions before assembly, installation, or use.

If any instructions or required components are missing or unclear, customers should contact Marble & Mason before proceeding.

7. Natural Material Characteristics

Natural stone is inherently unique.

Variations in veining, color, mineral composition, texture, and surface appearance are normal characteristics of authentic natural materials.

Each piece may differ from the product photographs or samples displayed on our website.

Such natural variations do not, by themselves, constitute manufacturing defects.

However, natural variation does not excuse structural defects, incorrect products, or other issues covered by applicable consumer protections.

8. Product Care and Maintenance

Customers are responsible for following the care and maintenance instructions applicable to their purchased products.

Natural-stone surfaces may be sensitive to acidic substances, abrasive cleaning products, excessive impact, moisture, and other conditions.

Unless otherwise specified, gentle cleaning with a soft, damp cloth is generally recommended.

Product-specific instructions should always take precedence over general care recommendations.

9. Product Safety and Responsibility

Marble & Mason is committed to providing products with appropriate safety information and addressing legitimate product defects or safety concerns.

Customers are responsible for using products as intended and following the assembly, installation, handling, and care instructions provided.

For standard deliveries, customers are responsible for arranging proper assembly and any required anchoring.

For Miami white-glove deliveries, Marble & Mason provides furniture assembly and placement, while customers remain responsible for arranging wall anchoring or structural securing when required.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Marble & Mason is not responsible for damage caused solely by improper customer assembly, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or installation performed contrary to adequate product-specific instructions.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability for defective products, inadequate safety instructions, negligent services, or other rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If a product appears damaged, defective, unstable, or unsafe, customers should discontinue use and contact Marble & Mason promptly.
